Alvarez Guitars
Designed in St. Louis, MO. Manufactured to the most exacting tolerances and specifications. Each Alvarez Acoustic guitar is subjected to a rigorous set-up and adjustment procedure by a staff of skilled American craftsmen to insure optimum sound and playability.
Listed below are the Alvarez models we most commonly keep in stock. Any other model may be special ordered -- please inquire. We will include a padded gig bag with any Alvarez guitar that does not come from the factory with a case (a $30 value).
factory seconds | electronics options The RD8 and RF8 models are an exceptional value at only $199.00, with sound and construction quality you'd expect to find in a much more expensive guitar. Includes hardshell case -- a $100 value! These guitars have a spruce top, mahogany back & sides, Elixir strings, and a limited lifetime factory warranty. These are our most popular guitars! RD8 is a dreadnought body shape, the traditional acoustic guitar shape -- click here to order RF8 is a Folk body shape, which is slightly smaller with narrower shoulders; very popular with women and teenagers -- click here to order We sometimes receive special shipments of Alvarez factory seconds which are better known as "Almost Perfect Alvarez." These are guitars that had some cosmetic flaw such as an overspray, nick or ding occur somewhere in production. Sometimes we can't even find the supposed flaw on these guitars! There are no issues with playability, and the guitars are offered at a significantly reduced price. They do not have a warranty, but if you choose a factory second we will guarantee you will get a fine playing guitar at a great price. Please contact us for our most current offerings.
