Goodall guitar Goodall Guitars

Superb craftsmanship, an exacting finesse for detail and wood choice, combined with robust, three dimensional sound character -- these are qualities which embody every James Goodall guitar. An accomplished painter, Goodall has also built and plays Baroque oboes, recorders, English horns, dulcimers, hammered dulcimers, mandolas, as well as other instruments of his own invention.

Formerly located in Hawaii, Goodall guitars is now based in Fort Bragg, CA. James and Luke Goodall are continuing their commitment to building fantastic acoustic guitars in their new shop (read more on Goodall's blog, goodallguitars.com/blog). Listed below are the Goodall guitars we currently have in stock. Click here to see video demos of previous Goodalls we have stocked.

You may also create your own custom Goodall by looking at the list of standard models, along with a long list of custom options. Every Goodall guitar is made-to-order, so it is truly possible to build your dream guitar. When you submit a quote request below, we will e-mail you within 48 hours with our discounted price (prices stated below are retail prices) and an estimated time of delivery. Custom orders generally require a 50% deposit (we will also quote you a deposit amount). If you prefer, you may e-mail or call us directly for a quote. We have links below to pages on Goodall's website with photos and descriptions of various woods and features. You may also visit www.goodallguitars.com directly.

Currently, wait time for new orders can range between 6-12 months. James and Luke Goodall operate on a very small scale and have limited build slots. Take our word for it though -- your dream Goodall guitar is worth the wait! Occasionally, we may have an open build slot reserved that can accommodate your custom order, and/or models can become available sooner for various reasons. We will advise you on the current wait time when you submit a quote request.
