Hohner

Recorders are the best-known members of the flageolet family. Usually made of wood or plastic, they have a fipple mouthpiece (like a pennywhistle), 7 fingerholes and a thumb hole on the back for the left hand. Recorders are available in garklein (C), sopranino (F), soprano (or descant, in C), alto (or treble, in F), tenor (C) and bass (F).

We occasionally carry rare, antique, and used wooden recorders.
