Violin and fiddle: Folk, Scandinavian, Contradance, Classical

GRAMMY nominee Andrea Hoag has taught fiddle and violin for over 20 years and has a unique, student-centered approach to teaching. A highly versatile musician, she teaches many styles. She has been on the teaching staff of numerous music camps, including Augusta heritage Center and Ashokan Northern and Southern Weeks. Andrea is a graduate of a program in Folk Violin Pedagogy at Malungs Folk College in Sweden. She performs with the nationally-known group Footloose, and has several recordings to her credit, including the GRAMMY-nominated (2006) Hambo In the Snow. Her recordings are on sale at the store:
