Music Lessons > Wytold Lebing updated August 7, 2012
Cello: classical, folk, rock, improvisation, looping

Wytold is a young, motivated teacher with a diverse musical background and 14 years of cello experience. He grew up studying classical cello in Northern Virginia and pursued local and regional youth orchestras and concerto competitions. In college he was inspired to be a singer-songwriter and has spent the past 8 years writing original compositions and playing in various folk-rock bands. His latest compositions combine multiple layers of live electric cello sounds through a loop pedal, as seen at his MySpace page.

Wytold looks forward to introducing beginners (age 7 through adult) to the cello, leading students through standard classical cello repertoire, helping students prepare for orchestra and college auditions, and exploring alternative cello styles and techniques such as those used in folk music, rock music, improvisation, and looping.
