Music Lessons > Robbie Ludwick updated July 20, 2004
banjo and mandolin (bluegrass)
electric bass and guitar (rock, blues, bluegrass)

Robbie Ludwick is a multi-instrumentalist & songwriter. A Silver Spring native, Robbie has studied over the last 25 years with the finest players including Henry Cross, Mark Nickens, Johnny Tsakanikas and Richard Underwood from The Johnson Mountain Boys. From Heavy Rock to Blues to Reggae and now heavily into Bluegrass, Robbie's repetoire has been extensive as well as versatile. He was a regular fixture with the blues band Johnny and the Poor Boys for many years before releasing his self-written and performed CD, Robbie Zev Ludwick - Sea Thru Me, which got radio interest and play.

Currently, you can hear his music in the new movie Greasewood Flat and possibly catch him playing with Richard Underwood and Friends as well as his new project, Kudzu. His musical passion as well as his patience level makes his knowledge easily accessible for the beginner as well as creating a relaxed, creative atmosphere.

Lessons are $26.00 for 1/2 hour, and are held in Silver Spring, MD. Please call (301)270-9090 or contact the lessons coordinator by email.
