Erik Sharar is currently pursuing a Master's degree in guitar at Peabody Conservatory. He has been teaching guitar privately for several years at a few local studios. He has performed extensively in the US and Europe for over 10 years, and is currently the director of the St. Raphael's Catholic Church Spanish Choir in Potomac, MD. Erik accepts beginning through advanced students. While offering a specialty in classical guitar, he is a versatile musician and teaches most styles of acoustic and electric guitar.

Lessons are $35.00 per half hour or $70.00 per hour. Erik teaches at his home in Takoma Park, MD and is sometimes able to travel to students' homes, depending on location & schedule. Lessons can sometimes be scheduled at HMT's studio, as well.
