Marcus Webb is recognized as an incredibly creative and innovative guitarist, improviser, producer and Oud player in the fields of jazz, electronic and experimental music. Combining breathtaking technique with musical intelligence, he displays a mastery of expression that encompasses delicate lyricism and sonic abstractions.
Marcus started playing guitar at the age of 5. Along the way he has studied with Washington DC guitar giant Tom Newman, and majored in jazz studies at Oberlin Conservatory with guitarist Bob Ferrazza and classical guitar with Steven Aaron.
