Performing, recording, and teaching since 1978, Wendy enjoys teaching adults and children. She is accomplished in various instrumental styles, including Appalachian Old Time, New England contradance, Irish, Scandinavian, and Klezmer. Wendy played whistles and concertina on the CD "Celtic Consort," and has been a guest musician on numerous other commercial recordings. She has conducted workshops at Maryland Banjo Academy, the Washington Folk Festival, FSGW minifest,Takoma Park Folk Festival, Northeast Concertina Workshop, and elsewhere.

Wendy has appeared over the years with several DC area Irish, old-time, and contra-dance bands, and currently performs with Klezcentricity.

Wendy teaches all levels of piano accordion, English concertina, and pennywhistle; beginning-intermediate diatonic GCF accordion, clawhammer banjo, and Anglo concertina; beginning 2-row GC & 1-row C accordions.

Private lessons are $50.00 for 1 hour (or $25.00 per half hour for children under 12) and are held at the instructor's home in Silver Spring, MD.
