This unusual guitar comes to us from the estate of a luthier/player/collector. It's an Eastman HE222CE acoustic that the previous owner added some custom modifications to, for electric playing. It has a P90-style pickup (from vintagevibeguitars.com) mounted in the soundhole. Though this creates a muffled sound when played acoustically, the guitar sounds great plugged in. 2 control knobs are mounted on the side near the neck heel, and the tuners have also been replaced with Gotoh 510. Set up with electric strings.
The custom work was cleanly done. Previous owner built several electric guitars which we are also selling as part of the estate.
