1930 Martin 0-18K Acoustic Guitar (used)

Regular price $ 6,799.00

For sale is a 1930 Martin 0-18K (s/n 46823) in excellent condition. This small bodied, all-solid koa guitar was owned by Philadelphia area singer, guitarist, educator and writer, Tossi Aaron. Her 1961 recording of "I Know You Rider" is credited as the first recorded and released version of the song, which later had many versions from The Gratefull Dead and others.

Lined chipboard case is included as well as 2 LP's featuring Tossi Aaron. We could not confirm that this is the same guitar photographed on the LP but it is most likely used on some of the recordings.

This guitar is in amazing playing condition with repairs performed by an authorized Martin service technician, including:

  • Neck reset
  • Bridge replaced with TJ Thompson era-appropriate bridge
  • Frets cleaned/polished
  • Strung with extra-light strings

Tuners are functioning wonderfully. Most likely original but we can not say with %100 certainty.
