For over 45 years, Larrivée has been building some of the most spectacular guitars around. Between Jean Larrivée's unparalleled access to exotic woods and Wendy Larrivée's fascinating inlays, lies some of the finest precision and detailed craftsmanship in the world of guitars.
This used jumbo-body with cutaway Larrivée JV-05 (made in 2002) is a discontinued model that has been newly restrung and setup in-house! It has an active pickup with endpin jack and single inside knob (possibly LR Baggs).

Some cosmetic issues worth noting:
PLEASE REMEMBER THESE ARE PURELY COSMETIC AND DO NOT AFFECT PLAYABILITY OR STABILITY OF THE GUITAR.
- There is a long "smear" on the back side of the guitar running vertically from the upper bout to the lower bout. The smear was very difficult to capture but a section of it is visible in the photograph. It is an almost perfect straight line, we suspect the guitar was left in the case with a strap underneath it for too long.
- A few small notches on the sound hole (also difficult to photograph) looks like some piece of hardware was attached there at one point. It's only on one side so we don't think it was a soundhole pickup but maybe some kind of clip on condenser mic.
