HMT’s own Justin Heath has put together a workshop to help you level up your repertoire on mandolin! This workshop will be a single session going through 3 levels of playing applied to a single tune. Beginning with the most basic accompaniment and melody of Amazing Grace, students will learn essential techniques to embellish the melody and how to improve your fretboard knowledge with each tune that you learn. Whether you are just beginning on and want to expand your repertoire, or you are an advancing player wanting some insight on how to bring new skills to your existing repertoire this is a great workshop for you.

Participants will receive a detailed eBook written by Justin and the workshop will be recorded for reference. Another exciting feature of this series is that each tune will be presented in separate sessions for Guitar, Banjo, and Mandolin so tell your friends and start your band! We hope to continue the Level Up series with other bluegrass and old-time tunes, so bring your suggestions.

We'll be using the free Zoom video conferencing app. You'll need a computer with a webcam (preferred), or a smartphone or tablet. Instructions on how to join the "meetings" will be emailed to participants before the first session. To view basic tutorials on how Zoom works, click here
