New For 2018 - A tempo Percussion - Cajons from Peru

In 1997, Alexis Castaneda, economist, luthier and Peruvian musician, started making Peruvian Cajons, with advice from the great “Cajoneador” Eusebio Sirio "Pititi" one of the greatest players of the Peruvian Cajon. Being the third generation of Carpenters in the Castaneda family, Alexis uses the knowledge gained in woodworking for the design and manufacture of his Peruvian Cajons.

Twenty years later, these instruments are still handmade in Peru and we're proud to be adding them to our unique stock of percussion instruments!
