This incredible and innovative banjo made by Nechville was purchased new by its former owner in 2008. They have barely played it, and have decided to pass it on to a new loving owner. We had our senior luthier do a full setup and clean/polish of hardware, and it's now looking and playing almost like-new! Its tone is amazingly loud, yet sweet when you back off.
This is the all-mahogany version of the Galaxy Phantom. A Schatten pickup has been installed, as well as 4 railroad spikes at the A. Bb, B, and C. The banjo features Nechville's tunneled 5th string, 20 hole nickel-plated bronze alloy tone ring, crack-resistant clear coat finish, and 7-12" compound radiused ebony fingerboard for playability and comfort. Heli-mount technology for the perfect head tension, Quick-Cam neck connection (neck is removeable & adjustable), and comfort arm rest. Nut Width is 1 5/16", scale length is 26 3/8". New orders of these from Nechville are at least a 5-month wait.
