This electric guitar was handmade by Doug Rumpf. Mr. Rumpf was a talented hobbyist guitar builder living in Mt. Airy, MD. He passed away recently and his family is selling some of his guitars through us (more to come). They are nicely constructed, easy to play and sound great, with some unique appearances. We don't know what year these were specifically made in, but they are generally in excellent to like-new condition, and have been fully inspected, cleaned and adjusted in our shop.
"Floyd Bird" is close to an Ibanez Iceman-style body. Specs are as follows:
- Master Volume
- Master tone
- EQ knob
- Active boost (push/pull pot)
- 25.5'' Scale Length
- 1 5/8'' nut width
- Active EMG pickups (HSS configuration)
- Floyd Rose bridge
There is some finish chipping at the bottom edge, but playability is excellent. Restrung and inspected in our shop.
