Used 1971 Gibson SG-100 (cherry finish) in good condition.
Three types of budget model SG hit store shelves in 1971; the SG-100, SG-200 and SG-250. They were intended to supersede Gibson’s budget friendly Melody Maker instrument as the company’s entry level offering. The SG-100 came with a single pickup in the neck position and was available in Cherry and Walnut finishes.
-Nut Width: 1 5/8''
-Scale Length: 24.75"
-Weight: 7.2 lbs
Like-new Gibson leather gig bag included!
This SG-100 has been given a "good" rating for the many finish blemishes that can be clearly seen in the photos.
Two blemishes in particular have been photographed and circled in red:
-deep gouge on the fret board on the treble side between 3-4th fret
-dent on the back of the neck near 2nd fret
Electronics function perfectly and the guitar has been recently set up for 10-46 strings Any issues of note are purely cosmetic and do not affect the stability of the instrument.
Due to the above mentioned issues and the fact that this is being sold well below market value (<$1535 at the time this listing was made), this guitar will be sold "as-is" and we will not accept any returns.
