This Gibson MB-4 banjo-mandolin comes to us from Grammy-winning musician Marcy Marxer, who is downsizing her instrument collection. It dates to 1923 or 24 (serial 11780-3) and is a "Trap Door" model without the actual trap door. It also does not have the pickguard or armrest sometimes seen on these models, but we believe everything else is original.
Overall this instrument is in very good condition for its age, and is set up with comfortably low action. Original hard case is included (one hinge is broken).
