Hammered dulcimer: all levels, all styles

Jody Marshall's performance credits include the White House, the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap's Filene Center for the Performing Arts, the Birchmere, and the Smithsonian Institution. She was a founding member of the bands Ironweed and MoonFire, and has been nominated as best folk instrumentalist by the Washington Area Music Association. Jody is also a renowned and popular teacher of the hammered dulcimer, and regularly teaches and performs at music festivals and workshops nationwide. She is also the staff coordinator for Spring Music Week at the Augusta Heritage Center in Elkins, WV.

Locally, Jody often performs with fiddler Andrea Hoag, pianist Paul Nahay, multi-instrumentalist Paul Oorts, singer Carey Creed, and other musicians. Her recordings and book include:

Private lessons, held in McLean, VA, are $65 for 1 hour. Children's lessons are $45 for a half hour.
