Ca. 1880-1905. Unlabeled (most have a round medallion inlaid into the headstock), but no doubt as to origin. Very rare, high quality instrument; simple unelaborated model. Perfect for Renaissance period performance with modern guitar format. Spruce soundboard, mahogany back, sides & neck. All original except for tailpiece (shadow on top is from another non-original tailpiece). Use nylon strings only and keep tension screws on tuners very snug. Excellent condition, a couple of top cracks properly repaired. Fully reconditioned, set up and guaranteed 90 days for structural integrity and playability by luthier-owner. Sold as-is cosmetically, with lightly used adapted hardshell case.
