Learn all the essential tools and techniques to understand and play the blues on the mandolin. The 4 part workshop series will cover the blues chord structure, essential rhythms and strumming patterns, blues scales and arpeggios, and strategies for improvising over the 12 bar blues. Participants will also receive a copy of Justin’s ebook ‘Starting out on Blues Mandolin.’ Participants should know at least a few basic chords on the mandolin, but even those at the beginner level will get a lot out of it!
These online classes will be held on the Zoom platform. You will need a computer with a webcam (preferred), or a smartphone or tablet.
