Beautiful mandolin with striking maple back of 25 ribs, fine spruce top, rosewood fretboard and faceplate, tortoise pickguard with elaborate pearl inlay. Well constructed and crack free after 100+ years. Fully reconditioned, newly refretted, fretboard planed, some seams reglued. Bridge in the Italian style. Clear, focused tone.

Unable to identify maker, though headstock similar to Vega; back similar to some by Silvestri. Could be American or Italian made. Note interior lining.

Professionally set up and guaranteed for playability and structural soundness 90 days by luthier-owner. Sold as-is cosmetically. No case included.
