This bowl-back mandolin is unlabeled, but Washburn headstock pattern indicates Lyon & Healy manufacture, ca. 1920. High-grade American-made mandolin, with Brazilian rosewood back of 28 ribs, fine spruce top, rosewood faceplate. Pickguard with detailed butterfly inlay in abalone and mother-of- pearl in tortoise shell.

Fully reconditioned and set up with light gauge strings. New handmade bridge with compensated bone saddle. Clear, focused tone. Guaranteed for playability and structural soundness 90 days by luthier-owner. Sold cosmetically as is.
