$ 575.00
Neck and rim assembly from different banjos from about the same time, professionally fitted to each other. Buckbee-style neck of yellow poplar with ebony fretboard veneer and celluloid inlays. Weighty spun-over metal-clad rim assembly with high-quality hardware, 30 L-shoes, round hooks and Bacon-style nuts with well-preserved nickel plating, probably from a higher-quality banjo, but neck plays very well. Mylar Renaissance head, quality vintage Grover friction pegs, simple vintage tailpiece. Professionally reconditioned, set up and guaranteed 90 days for structural integrity and playability by luthier-owner. Strong tone. No case included.
