Lap dulcimer made by Geoffrey R. Johnson in 1996, 4 strings, hourglass shape with soundholes only on the lower bout. Spruce top, oak back and sides, guitar-style enclosed geared tuners, floating bridge. Uses Ball end strings (currently 12, 12, 14, & 22 nickel wound). Scale length is 27.5", nut 1 & 7/16". Instrument is 42.5", longer than many standard dulcimers. No case included.
We do not know much about this maker, but the dulcimer has a nice tone!
