Many Irish tenor banjo players that prefer longer sustain and fuller tone choose the traditional 1920s tubaphone pot design. The sturdy pot features a twenties-style bracket band and the tastefully inlayed fretboard is bound in white celluloid. The seventeen-fret IT-800, tuned to GDAE (an octave lower than a mandolin) has the power and volume needed for Celtic banjo lead playing and its sound carries mightily through big sessions. Available as left-handed model.
