Heinrich Th Heberlein Jr. 4/4 Violin, 1924 (used)

Regular price $ 5,000.00

Strad copy 4/4 violin from respected German shop (Heinrich Theodore Heberlein Jr). Brand-stamped inside. 2-pc back of medium curl, antiqued, yellow-brown varnish, matching ribs, fluted f-holes.

Our senior luthier & violin appraiser carefully examined this instrument, and found no cracks or structural issues. He fitted new ebony pegs with diamond inlays, and performed a general setup with cleaning and light finish retouching.

Sturdy oblong hard case with velvet interior and shoulder rest are included.

This violin comes to us from a well-respected local teacher and player who had to stop playing due to health reasons. This was her main violin. She would very much like to see it go to a new home where it will be loved and played. As you'll hear in the video below, this violin shines for traditional fiddle music, but would also be a wonderful choice for a classical player. The sound is nicely balanced and rich.
