French violin by Henri Farny, Mirecourt, ca. 1920. Our luthier completed the following work on this instrument:
- a fine soundpost crack was glued & cleated. Not patched, but the crack is stable and will remain so with vigilant humidifying.
- New bridge & soundpost fitted
- fingerboard resurfaced
- set up with Thomastik Infeld strings, with gold E.
Oblong hard case is included. This violin was previously owned by a well-respected violin teacher and musician in our area.
