An unusual find! Built in 1984 by Joaquin Garcia in Spain, the guitar is essentially "encased" in a second shell, with edges that extend above the top. Built to produce more volume and it is indeed quite loud, with a lovely tone.
Solid spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back & sides. 25.5-inch scale length, and neck width at nut is 2 1/8" - slightly wider than a standard classical guitar. Upper bout measurement is 12.25", lower bout 15.25, and depth is about 4.5". This guitar also weighs significantly more than a standard classical, at about 5 lbs 7 oz.
Hard case is included. Very good condition overall; a small ding on the top below the bridge. Definitely a powerhouse of a classical guitar!
