Calling all aspiring ukulele youth! Acacia will introduce students to strumming patterns, chords, and how to read chord charts. This is a fun and engaging class designed to inspire a lifetime of art, and will set students up to play their favorite songs and show off their new skills to the world.
This class is designed for children ages 7-10 who are new to the ukulele (beginners older than 10 may register for Maureen Andary's class). Students who have taken lessons on another instrument are welcome - this is a great way to increase their understanding and apply their skills to a new instrument.
Participants will need their own ukulele. HMT has good beginner ukuleles available for under $50 - stop in or contact us for help in choosing one. We are also offering participants in this class a 10% discount on select new ukuleles (good through 2/28/19)!
** In case we need to cancel a session due to inclement weather, a makeup session will be offered on February 17.
