The Martin D-28S is a rare and highly regarded 12-fret vintage acoustic guitar produced by C.F. Martin \u0026amp; Company from 1954 to 1993. The \"S\" designation stands for \"Standard\" (referring to the traditional, early Martin design), featuring a slotted headstock and a longer, elongated body shape that meets the neck at the 12th fret rather than the modern 14th fret. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThe D-28S is often considered the most balanced and powerful of Martin's 12-fret \"S\" models. The elongated body generates massive volume, incredible projection, and rich overtones.
