Martin Style 1 Soprano Ukulele, 1932-33, with Case (used)

Regular price $ 850.00

All original, excellent condition. No structural issues past or present with exception of one short crack in treble rib, professionally repaired and nearly invisible. Professionally cleaned, polished and set up with Aquila super-nylgut strings. Original finish in very good condition with a few scratches and minor wear from use. Not sure if tuning pegs are original, but they are well fitted and they work, so we have left them.

The Style 1 ukulele features 3-part tortoise body binding that is absent on the Style 0. All mahogany body and neck with rosewood fingerboard. The script Martin decal was introduced in 1932, and in 1934, T-frets replaced the bar frets found on this uke, placing this one right at 1932-33. Model introduced in 1918 and discontinued in 1965.

Guaranteed 90 days for structural integrity and playability by luthier-owner. Cosmetically as-is. Modern hardshell case (nearly new) is included. A beauty!
