Samick JZ4 hollowbody archtop in very good condition - no significant cosmetic flaws and plays well. One of the pickups had stopped working, which was repaired by our technician - however, there is still an audible "pop" when switching between pickups which could not be ameliorated after cleaning/adjusting. Due to this issue, this guitar is sold "as is," no returns. Gig bag included.
The electronics are a bit unusual on this guitar. The bridge has a piezo in it, so the switch acts identically to a 3 position switch if it had a bridge humbucker. For the pots: rather than volume/tone pots for the bridge and neck pickups, this has a master volume, a master tone, and the other two knobs are active EQ. One is a bass EQ; the other is a bit hard to hear so we can't say with certainty what it is. Also, due to the active EQ, this guitar requires a 9V battery.
