Songwriters, open mic performers, professional musicians, and other guitarists can all benefit from having dynamic and interesting strumming technique. Topics covered include: basic rhythm notation, one- and two-measure strumming patterns, development of the basic patterns by incorporating string groupings and percussive techniques, and playing fingerpicking patters with a pick.

MARK SYLVESTER -- Drawing on his broad performance and compositional background in folk, jazz, classical, rock, soul, blues and musical theater, Mark offers his students a wide musical perspective while tailoring lessons to match student interests.
