An early 1960s Sho-Bud "Permanent" D10 pedal steel, from the "Madison" era of the company. This has had some modifications which focus and simplify the process of learning pedal steel, making this particular rare and early example a great entry point for the instrument:
At some point in its life, the front neck was modified, so that the pedals have no effect on its tuning. Restoring this would be a complicated procedure. Probably at the same time, the switches were bypassed, so that both necks are always active through their volume knobs. Restoring this would be a relatively simple procedure.
Come give it a whirl during our open hours!
