ca. 1930. Attractive walnut version of Slingerland's typical 17-fret open-back model, in wonderful condition. Professionally reconditioned and converted to Irish tuning GDAE.

Three-piece neck with mother-of-pearl diamond position markers. Perfect neck relief and low action. Stamped SLINGERLAND on strut.

High quality 10 ¾" flat-head rim with walnut veneer and inlaid wood marquetry border. All-original quality hardware with good nickel plating, including 20 flat hooks and L-shoes, heavy grooved tension hoop, Waverly 4-string tailpiece. New Gotoh planetary gears, repro armrest, Remo frosted mylar head and maple/ebony bridge. An excellent compact banjo. Guaranteed 90 days for structural integrity and playability by luthier-owner.
