This sweet little 8-string mandolin from the early 1900s still has its original Sears Roebuck and Co. sticker on the inside! It is in good condition with some nicks and scuffs commensurate with age and it has been newly restrung and set up with light-gauge strings by our HMT luthier. Some of the seams have been reglued and the cracked top brace has been repaired. Bright sound, low action.
This instrument has a back of 9 ribs, spruce top, mahogany fingerboard, low, action, oval hole, and a butterfly transfer graphic. Nut measures 1 and 3/16" and the scale measures 13".
No case (we do not currently have a source for bowlback cases), but we offer free shipping within the continental US.
