Dust off those fingers and set yourself up for success with the ukulele! Justin will guide you through ukulele basics: chords, strumming patterns, and accompanying songs. This class is geared towards adult and high school learners just getting started with the ukulele. Students under the age of 16 should speak to us prior to registration.
You will need your own ukulele for this class. HMT sells good-quality beginner ukes starting at around $50 - stop in any time to purchase!
** In case the instructor or studio need to cancel a session, a makeup session will be offered on October 31.

Justin Heath: Justin’s passion for music ranges across a variety of instruments, including acoustic guitar, 5-string banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and violin. His musical interests range from jazz to folk and bluegrass to flamenco, but he is currently focused predominantly on solo Classical guitar and playing tango music with the Toccata Players. Justin works at the House of Musical Traditions and teaches guitar, banjo, ukulele, and beginning violin.
