Probably made by Wm. Lange, ca. 1910-20.
Sold by Sears, Supertone banjos reportedly were manufactured by Lange early in his banjo-making career, after buying the Buckbee factory. Cherry neck in very good condition with dyed pearwood fretboard, fitted with high quality period metal friction tuners, and old celluloid friction fifth-string peg. Nice lightly figured faceplate. "Spun-over" wood/metal rim with plating in beautiful condition, 16 original hex shoes, round hooks and nuts, sturdy tension hoop and original Elite tailpiece. New Renaissance mylar head. Professionally reconditioned, setup, guaranteed 90 days for structural soundness and playability by luthier/owner. Just a step below the "Ragtime King" model; a great vintage beginning frailer.
