The 1969 Martin 00-18C is a highly prized, vintage nylon-string classical guitar built during the final year of this model's original production run (1962–1969). Renowned for its lightweight, responsive build and warm, mature folk-era tone, it features a solid spruce top paired with solid mahogany back, sides, and neck. Martin engineered this guitar's unique bracing patterns as a variation of classical strutting, making them exceptionally lightly built. Players from the 1960s folk boom frequently favored this model for fingerpicking, vocal accompaniment, and strumming. It produces a rich, compelling, and mellow bass response with soft mids. This guitar has been professionally setup including fretwork and is ready to play. There are very slight dings in the finish on the front but it otherwise shows very little wear.
