Troublesome Creek Instruments
**UPDATE**
Troublesome Creek's workshop has sadly been almost completely destroyed by the July 28 floods in Kentucky. Please watch the video below, consider donating to their Gofundme campaign, and spread the word to help get the company back on its feet.
Troublesome Creek guitars, mandolins & dulcimers are handmade in Hindman, KY from sustainably sourced local Appalachian tonewoods. Through their non-profit Appalachian School of Luthiery, they train people in recovery for addiction to become some of the best luthiers in the country. Using the finest in locally-sourced, Appalachian hardwoods, they create stunning instruments that are both tonally and environmentally excellent, while each sale contributes to the regrowth of our post-coal economy. When you purchase a Troublesome Creek instrument, you get more than a terrific handmade heirloom; you take ownership in a legacy that you helped build.
