House of Musical Traditions has carried Breedlove instruments since the early 2000s, when they were a smaller company building in Bend, OR. As the company grew, we expanded into their import line, delivering high-quality guitars at more affordable price points - while still having a deep commitment to sustainably harvested woods and practices. Under Tom Bedell's leadership starting in 2010, Breedlove grew with the introduction of Sound Optimization®—a breakthrough process of individually tuning each top and back to maximize tonal potential. Tom's contributions to wood sustainability are alive and well today in the Breedlove DNA. Now, under the leadership of Pete Mroz and Shannon Pollard, Breedlove is going back to its roots with its current product line, which is 100% built in Bend, OR.
