Strad-O-Lin Mandolin, ca. 1940 (used)

Regular price $ 780.00

Solid woods throughout, including a fine spruce top and attractive curly maple back, produce a fine full sound at a fraction of the cost of a pre-war Gibson A model. Modestly priced in their day, Strad-O-Lins are known for sounding "better than they ought to" and are among the best values in a solid wood, American-made vintage mandolin.

Fully reconditioned, this one has two top cracks, professionally repaired, internally reinforced with cleats, retouched and sealed with lacquer and guaranteed for a full year by luthier-owner.

Otherwise in superb structural and cosmetic condition-- minor retouching around edges. All original, including tuners, pickguard, adjustable bridge and "cloud" tailpiece.

Excellent condition and playability, guaranteed 90 days by luthier-owner (sold cosmetically as is). With modern hard-shell case in good used condition.
