1954 Gibson LG-1 in good condition.
This guitar has been well played throughout the decades but still has the warm, cozy tone of a vintage Gibson. Aesthetically in poor/fair condition, playability in excellent condition (considering the below mentioned repairs) lands this guitar in good condition.
Repairs
- Refreted (1-14)
- New bone nut
- Tuners replaced
- Maple veneer glued over bridgeplate string holes and holes re-drilled
- Replaced bridge pin set
- Multiple top and back cracks glued and/or cleated
- #3 top brace below bridge fully re-glued.
- Braces have been added to the treble/bass sides of soundhole to reinforce the top. Gibsons of this age are notorious for collapsing tops because of their lack of bracing
