The BZ-1000 from Gold Tone is a guitar-bodied Celtic bouzouki with 8 strings, and built-in Fishman pickup. Bouzoukis are generally tuned one octave lower than a standard mandolin (alternate tunings are possible) - and some, like this one, are set up with octave tuning on the lower two courses for a full, rich sound.
