This 1980-1981 (D Series) Gurian S3M is a high-quality acoustic guitar made in New Hampshire by Gurian Guitars, founded by luthier Michael Gurian. These guitars are well-regarded among collectors and players for their craftsmanship and unique design elements.

Specs:

• Body: The S3M features a grand concert body size

• Top Wood: Solid Sitka spruce

• Back and Sides: Solid mahogany

• Neck: Mahogany neck with a distinctive three-piece laminate construction

• Fingerboard: Ebony, often with a 12–14” radius

• Scale Length: 25.5” scale

• Nut Width: around 1 11/16”

• Bracing: Gurian’s proprietary modified X-bracing

• Bridge: rosewood

• Tuners: Schaller

The action at the 12th fret is high at 3/16"; the truss was adjusted so it might need slight saddle or nut work. It's supremely playable and beautiful sounding on the lower frets, however! The bridge is beginning to lift ever so slightly on the bass side, and it has a previously repaired crack in the front of the body and other signs of age. Comes with hard case.

Fully insured shipping within the continental US is $75 via UPS, for all other locations please inquire.
