Resembling the banjeaurines of old, this short scale (23.5") version of the AC-12 has seventeen frets and is tuned to A (a whole step higher that a standard banjo). The short, scooped neck is built just like its longer sibling and on the same 12-inch pot assembly as the AC-12. Ideal for travel, the AC-12A is small, lightweight (just five pounds), and perfect for a long session of A or D tunes. Comes with a gig bag, too.
