Quality workshop instrument from well-known Bohemian maker/exporter, pre-WWII, before production was moved to Germany. Trade name used by importer Metropolitan Music, Stowe, Vermont.
Excellent condition, little wear, apparently played very little. Professionally set up with Corelli Alliance Vivace synthetic-core strings. Recent pegs, bridge and fittings. Nice, even tone across tonal range. No issues.
Fully blocked, one-piece back of tight, deep curl maple, matching ribs and neck. Close-grained top, antiqued red-brown varnish over yellow ground.
Guaranteed for structural integrity and playability by luthier-owner. Free adjustment for one year.
