Fred White 4/4 violin in very good condition.
This is an American made fiddle from 1925.
The label reads "Fred White. Pembroke. 1925. No. 12 Mass."
It has been recently setup with a new bridge, a new Wittner tailpiece and chinrest, new pegs, and new Dominant strings.
As far as sound goes, this fiddle is very loud and punchy. It is crisp and bright and overall balanced. It would be a great instrument for a band or social playing.
Comes with a hardshell case.
