The domra is a Russian, Ukrainian, and Belorussian stringed instrument from the lute family.
Traditionally, the Russian domras have three strings tuned in fourths while the Ukranian and Belorussian ones have four strings which are usually tuned in 5ths like a violin or mandolin.
